About the Postpartum Care Program
The weeks after delivery — often called the fourth trimester — are among the most physically and emotionally demanding of a woman's life. EazyPregnancy's Postpartum Care program provides a warm, structured 6-month recovery plan grounded in both Indian healing traditions and modern postnatal science.
What is the fourth trimester?
The fourth trimester refers to the first three months after delivery — a period of profound physical recovery and emotional adjustment. The uterus takes 6–8 weeks to return to its pre-pregnancy size. Hormones shift dramatically in the first days postpartum, directly affecting mood, sleep, and energy. Recognising this as a defined physiological period is the first step to recovering well.
Why traditional Indian postpartum practices matter
Traditional Indian postpartum care — the jaapa — includes warm healing foods (gond ke ladoo, methi, ajwain, ghee, haldi doodh), oil massages, and rest. These practices have real physiological foundations. Our program integrates these traditions with modern postnatal science.
Postpartum mental health: the silent part of recovery
1 in 5 Indian mothers experience postpartum depression or anxiety. Our program includes weekly mood check-ins, a private journaling space, and a clear path to connect with a counsellor — because catching low mood early makes all the difference.
Who is this program for?
- New mothers in the first days, weeks, and months after delivery
- Mothers recovering from C-section delivery (gentler track included)
- Breastfeeding mothers who need lactation support
- Mothers experiencing postpartum fatigue, low mood, or overwhelm
- Mothers who want to rebuild core and pelvic floor strength safely
Why EazyPregnancy?
Traditional healing, modern science
Our postpartum nutrition plans include the warming Indian recovery foods — gond, methi, ajwain, ghee, haldi — validated by nutritional science and built into easy meal plans.
Safe, graduated movement
Recovery begins with breath and pelvic floor awareness in week 1 and builds towards functional movement over months. C-section mothers follow a specifically adapted slower track.
Lactation expert on demand
Our certified lactation experts are available for chat support throughout the program. Most breastfeeding challenges can be resolved within 2–3 days when the right help arrives early.
Mental health built in, not an afterthought
Our weekly mood tracker and journaling space create a regular habit of noticing, so that low periods are caught early and support is always one tap away.
The Postpartum Care program is designed for mothers across India — because recovery support should not depend on whether you live near a good hospital or have a joint family.
